The Frankfurt branch of a legal consulting group is opening a vacancy for a Legal Department Assistant (Junior Paralegal). We provide services to corporate clients in the fields of commercial, tax, and civil law, so our legal department needs an attentive, responsible, and organized person to take over routine document preparation tasks and ensure the smooth operation of the department. The position requires full-time work at our Frankfurt office.
What the Assistant Does Daily:
○ Formatting legal documents, contracts, claims, and statements of claim according to approved templates and samples.
○ Collecting, systematizing, and maintaining the database of the department's court cases, tracking court hearing dates.
○ Physical delivery and submission of documents to government agencies, courts, notaries, and bailiff services in Frankfurt.
○ Managing the archive of legal cases: sorting client folders, scanning, and uploading documents to cloud storage.
○ Preparing draft letters, requests, and responses to appeals as directed by the Head of the Department.
○ Organizational support for lawyers' meetings with clients (preparing the meeting room, welcoming guests).
Who We Prioritize:
○ Higher or incomplete higher legal education (senior students or recent graduates without significant work experience).
○ Understanding of basic principles of office administration and legal documentation rules.
○ Excellent skills in the MS Office package (especially Word — paragraph formatting, styles, tables) and office equipment.
○ Fluent written and spoken German and English, high concentration on wording.
○ A desire to develop in the legal field and quickly learn practical skills.
Employment Conditions:
