Looking for a remote position as a Front Desk Agent (Receptionist), Reservations Department Operator for a hotel or hostel. I have a year and a half of stable practical experience in the hospitality industry on-site. I confidently master the standards of telephone etiquette and business correspondence skills with foreign guests. I am communicative, neat, friendly, and focused on resolving any guest requests.
Professional Tasks & Scope of Responsibility:
✦ Remote processing, confirmation, and adjustment of room reservations from international systems (Booking, Expedia, Airbnb);
✦ Remote guest support during check-in (sending contactless entry instructions, generating codes for smart locks);
✦ Handling incoming calls from guests: detailed consulting regarding hotel services, room categories, prices, and additional amenities;
✦ Coordinating the work of housekeepers and the hotel's maintenance service on-site, monitoring room readiness times;
✦ Working with guest reviews on international platforms, promptly responding to complaints and wishes.
Language Knowledge & Professional Skills:
✦ English language at a conversational level (Intermediate / B1) — free dialogue and business correspondence;
✦ Practical experience with hotel PMS systems (Opera, Cloudbeds, Maestro) and Channel Manager;
✦ Fluent spoken and written English, high stress resistance when working with difficult clients.
Work Condition Preferences:
✦ Expected salary level: starting from $40,000 CAD per year;
✦ Considering exclusively a remote (work-from-home) format with full-time employment;
✦ Ready for a shift work schedule (including night shifts by agreement).
