Description
A private military training center near Fort Liberty (formerly Fort Bragg) in Fayetteville, North Carolina, is hiring a Tactical Firearms Instructor to lead live-fire and force-on-force courses for active-duty military, law enforcement, and vetted civilian contractors.
Your role in the field:
- Delivering structured classroom instruction on ballistics, terminal effects, weapons manipulation, and the rules of engagement, followed by immediate practical application on outdoor ranges at distances from 5 to 600 meters.
- Running small-unit tactics drills: bounding overwatch, room clearing (CQB), react-to-contact drills, and ambush break-contact procedures with 2-person, 4-person, and squad-sized elements.

- Designing and building realistic shoot houses and scenario-based training environments using barricades, vehicles, and role-players equipped with SIMUNITION or UTM marking cartridges.
- Conducting after-action reviews with video playback, identifying individual and team-level performance gaps, and writing formal training reports for unit commanders.
Mandatory credentials:
- Documented combat deployment experience with a verifiable DD-214 or equivalent allied nation discharge documentation.
- Current certifications from recognized instructor programs: NRA LE Instructor, USCCA, or military MOS-specific instructor badges (e.g., Army Drill Sergeant, Marine Corps Combat Instructor).
- TCCC-MP or NAEMT PHTLS certification, current within the last 24 months.
- Clean background check and ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
