Description

An advanced R&D laboratory specializing in electronic warfare technologies in Toulouse is looking for an RF Signal Analyst to develop and optimize jamming profiles against modern drone communication and navigation links. You will be the mind behind the noise, figuring out exactly how to disrupt enemy signals without blinding our own forces.

~ Your core responsibilities ~
- Monitoring and analyzing the RF spectrum in designated bands to identify and characterize drone telemetry, video downlinks, and GNSS signals.
- Developing, testing, and refining jamming waveforms (noise, targeted, and sweep) to effectively defeat specific modulation schemes and frequency-hopping algorithms.
- Utilizing Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms to decode, analyze, and reverse-engineer non-standard or proprietary drone communication protocols.
- Simulating interference scenarios to evaluate the impact of our jamming profiles on friendly communications and navigation systems.
- Providing detailed technical recommendations to the hardware team for antenna design improvements and power amplifier optimization.

~ What you need to succeed ~
- At least 1 year of practical experience working with SDR transceivers (HackRF, LimeSDR, USRP) and RF signal analysis.
- Strong proficiency in GNU Radio, MATLAB, or Python for digital signal processing (DSP) and waveform generation.
- Deep knowledge of wireless communication protocols, modulation types (AM, FM, FSK, OFDM, QAM), and error correction coding.
- A solid grasp of radio physics, digital receiver/transmitter architecture, and RF system design.
- A degree in Telecommunications, Radio Engineering, or Applied Physics.

We offer a gross annual salary of €55,000 EUR, plus a comprehensive French social benefits package. This is a full-time, on-site position at our secure R&D facility in Toulouse. You will have access to a fully equipped RF lab, including anechoic chambers, vector signal analyzers, and high-speed digital oscilloscopes.
