A premier private military training facility located just outside Fayetteville, North Carolina, is hiring a seasoned Tactical Firearms & CQB Instructor. We train active-duty military, law enforcement SWAT teams, and vetted private security contractors, and we need an instructor who has been there and done that.
Your responsibilities on the range and in the shoot-house:
* Conducting intensive classroom and practical training on firearms safety, terminal ballistics, and precision marksmanship.
* Teaching dynamic tactical movement and fire-and-maneuver drills in complex environments, including dense woodland, urban CQB (Close Quarters Battle), and trench/fortification clearing.
* Drilling students on rapid magazine transitions, immediate action drills for malfunction clearance, and shooting from unconventional positions or under physical duress.
* Designing and overseeing high-stress force-on-force scenarios using SIMUNITION or UTM marking cartridges.
* Enforcing absolute, non-negotiable range safety protocols at all times.
Who we are looking for:
* Verifiable combat deployment experience (DD-214 or allied equivalent required).
* Deep, encyclopedic knowledge of modern small arms, their maintenance, and their mechanical limitations.
* The ability to command a room, project authority, and break down complex tactical concepts for diverse learning styles.
* Excellent physical conditioning to demonstrate drills and manage outdoor ranges in all weather conditions.
We offer a base salary of $65,000 USD per year, plus per-diem and range-day bonuses that can push total compensation significantly higher. This is a full-time, on-site role at our 200-acre training compound in Fayetteville. We provide all weapons, ammunition, target systems, and tactical gear.
