Опис

A specialized defense manufacturing facility in Fayetteville, North Carolina, is hiring an RF Cable Assembly Technician to build the critical coaxial and microwave interconnects for our Electronic Warfare and drone systems. In the RF world, a poorly terminated connector or a kinked cable can ruin the entire system's performance. We need a technician who understands impedance, VSWR, and the physical art of cable assembly.

@ Fabricating, cutting, and stripping low-loss coaxial cables (LMR-400, RG-series, semi-rigid) and high-frequency ribbon cables according to precise engineering drawings.
@ Crimping, soldering, and assembling RF connectors (SMA, N-type, TNC, BNC, MMCX) with absolute precision, ensuring perfect center-pin alignment and shield contact.
@ Building complex internal wiring harnesses for EW units, integrating power, data, and RF lines while maintaining strict separation to prevent crosstalk and EMI.
@ Performing 100% continuity, insulation resistance, and Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) testing on every finished cable assembly using specialized RF test equipment.
@ Applying heat-shrink tubing, braided shielding, and environmental sealing compounds to protect the assemblies from vibration, moisture, and extreme temperatures.

You must have at least 2 years of experience in RF cable assembly or telecommunications. A solid understanding of coaxial cable physics, bend radii, and connector types is required. We offer $58,000 USD per year, with overtime opportunities. This is a full-time, on-site position in our assembly facility in Fayetteville.
