Description

When a drone comes back from the field covered in mud and suffering from a dead gimbal or a fried ESC, I am the person who figures out why it failed and brings it back to life. I am a UAV Repair Technician with three years of experience in high-volume service centers, specializing in DJI Enterprise, Autel, and custom FPV platforms.

Between 2018 and 2021, I worked as a lead repair technician, personally restoring over 250 drones of various classes. My work ranged from replacing cracked carbon fiber arms and burnt-out motors on FPV racers to performing microscopic soldering on the mainboards of DJI Mavic 3s. I developed a rapid diagnostic workflow that connects the aircraft to a PC to parse error codes, which cut my average troubleshooting time by 25%.

Since late 2021, I have been focusing on field repairs and advanced diagnostics. I am highly experienced in replacing coaxial video cables, repairing gimbal ribbon cables, and recalibrating IMU and obstacle avoidance sensors. I also regularly conduct post-repair test flights to ensure the aircraft is 100% mission-ready before handing it back to the operator.

I hold a diploma in Computer Systems Maintenance and a specialized certificate in DJI Enterprise technical servicing. I am technically neat, possess excellent spatial awareness, and always take full responsibility for the quality of my solder joints and assemblies. I own a portable field repair kit, including a battery-powered soldering iron and precision drivers. I am looking for a full-time, on-site role in a defense depot in San Diego, CA, targeting $65,000 USD.
