Description
Building the brains of a UAV requires steady hands, sharp eyes, and an uncompromising respect for IPC standards. I am a 4th-class Electronics Assembler with four years of experience hand-soldering high-density, multi-layer printed circuit boards for drone motor controllers and EW systems.
From 2018 to 2022, I worked on the production floor of a radio-electronics manufacturing plant. My primary responsibility was the manual assembly of SMD components, ranging from tiny 0402 and 0201 passives to complex QFN and SOP integrated circuits. Working under a binocular microscope, I ensured flawless solder joints without bridging or cold solder issues. I also handled the installation of power connectors, coaxial pigtails, and antenna outputs, strictly adhering to thermal profiles to prevent pad lifting.
A major improvement I introduced to the assembly line was the implementation of custom magnetic fixtures and "third-hand" holders for the PCBs. This simple change increased my assembly speed by 20% and drastically reduced the risk of board flexing during fine-pitch soldering. I have personally assembled over 1,000 motor controller boards and am highly experienced in applying conformal coatings to protect the hardware from moisture and conductive dust in field conditions.
I hold a vocational diploma in Electronic Equipment Assembly and a certificate in modern IPC manual soldering standards. I am highly patient, meticulous, and possess excellent fine motor skills. I have a fully equipped personal workstation at home, including a temperature-controlled soldering station, a digital microscope, and fume extraction. I am seeking a full-time, on-site role in a cleanroom environment in Munich, Germany, targeting €48,000 EUR.
