My career has been built at the intersection of heavy electrical engineering and sensitive RF hardware. I design and validate the power architectures that keep high-draw microwave jamming modules alive, whether they are sitting in a climate-controlled lab or buried in a muddy trench. I hold a Master's degree in Electrical Power Engineering from TU Munich.
From 2016 to late 2019, I worked as a power systems engineer at an industrial manufacturing plant in Augsburg. My focus was on maintaining switchgear and designing UPS systems for automated assembly lines. That experience taught me how to calculate peak loads and manage thermal dissipation in enclosed spaces. In early 2020, I transitioned to the defense sector, joining a specialized EW research institute as a lead power engineer.
My day-to-day involves calculating the exact power profiles of mobile EW complexes, selecting high-discharge Li-Ion battery banks, and integrating sine-wave inverters that can handle massive transient spikes when the RF amplifiers fire. I routinely test battery management systems (BMS) under extreme cold and heat, ensuring that the voltage never sags below the critical threshold for the microwave synthesizers. I also design shielded power distribution panels that prevent high-current noise from bleeding into the sensitive telemetry lines.
I am highly proficient with power simulation software, thermal imaging cameras, and high-precision oscilloscopes. I possess a calm demeanor when troubleshooting a dead power bus in the field with limited time, and I take immense pride in building systems that never fail when the operator needs them most.
