Description

A bustling, artisanal café and evening cocktail lounge in Capitol Hill, Seattle, is looking for a hybrid Specialty Coffee Barista & Craft Cocktail Bartender. Our space transitions from a sunlit coffee haven to an intimate, moody speakeasy at night, and we need a versatile beverage artist who can thrive in both worlds.

- Dialing in espresso shots, pulling perfect rosettas, and educating customers on single-origin beans and alternative brewing methods like V60 and Aeropress.
- Shaking, stirring, and smoking classic and house-invented cocktails using locally foraged botanicals and house-made syrups.
- Managing the daily calibration of our La Marzocco espresso machines and maintaining an organized, spotless wet and dry bar.
- Conducting weekly inventory of spirits, fresh produce, and coffee beans, minimizing waste through precise pour tracking.
- Engaging with regulars and newcomers alike, creating a welcoming, community-driven atmosphere.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 year of experience behind both a coffee bar and a liquor rail. You should hold a SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) certification or equivalent practical knowledge, and possess a genuine passion for mixology. We value charisma, a strong work ethic, and the ability to multitask during our notoriously busy weekend brunch rushes.

Compensation is set at $55,000 USD annually, supplemented by excellent tip potential and a comprehensive health benefits package after 90 days. We provide paid barista and mixology training, free shift meals, and a vibrant, creative team culture.
