Opis

A high-volume, upscale casual dining establishment in downtown Toronto is searching for a dynamic Restaurant Floor Manager to lead our evening shifts. We are a cornerstone of the city's culinary scene, and we need a decisive leader who can orchestrate the dining room, support the kitchen, and ensure every guest leaves with a smile.

1. Directing the pre-shift lineup, setting daily targets, and delegating sections to the FOH team to ensure optimal floor coverage.
2. Monitoring table turns, pacing the kitchen's ticket times, and stepping in to assist with running food or bussing tables during peak rushes.
3. Handling guest complaints with empathy and authority, turning potential negative experiences into loyal patronage.
4. Managing the nightly cash drop, reconciling POS discrepancies, and securing the premises at closing.
5. Training new hires on our service standards, menu knowledge, and safety protocols, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

You must bring at least 2 years of leadership experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Proficiency with Toast or TouchBistro POS systems is essential, as is the physical stamina to be on your feet for 8-10 hour shifts. We need someone who leads by example, maintains impeccable grooming standards, and thrives in a high-energy atmosphere.

We offer a salary of $62,000 CAD per year, plus a performance-based monthly bonus tied to labor cost and revenue targets. Benefits include a transit subsidy, complimentary shift meals, and opportunities to advance to General Manager within our expanding group.
