A beloved, sun-drenched neighborhood café in South Austin is looking for a warm and energetic Server to join our front-of-house team. We are a community staple, known for our farm-to-table breakfast tacos, fresh-squeezed mimosas, and a play area that keeps toddlers happily occupied while parents enjoy their coffee. We need a server who genuinely loves people, thrives in a chaotic but joyful environment, and can handle a stroller-filled brunch rush with a smile.
What you will be doing:
* Greeting regulars and newcomers alike, guiding them through our seasonal menu, and making personalized recommendations.
* Managing a multi-section floor, running food, bussing tables, and ensuring that kids' cups are constantly refilled.
* Processing payments via our Toast POS system, handling cash drops, and balancing your drawer at the end of a long shift.
* Collaborating with the kitchen staff to communicate special dietary requests and ensure timely delivery of dishes.
We are open to candidates with or without formal serving experience, provided you have a fantastic attitude and a strong desire to learn. You must be comfortable lifting heavy trays and staying on your feet for hours. We offer a base wage of $15/hour plus excellent tip potential (averaging $25-$30/hour total), flexible scheduling, free shift coffee and meals, and a deeply supportive, family-oriented team culture.
