Our award-winning taproom and brewpub in the heart of Portland's Pearl District is looking for a passionate Craft Beer Bartender to join our front-of-house team. We pride ourselves on our rotating taps of house-brewed IPAs, stouts, and experimental sours, paired with elevated pub fare. We need someone who genuinely loves beer culture, can educate our guests on flavor profiles, and keep the bar running smoothly during our notoriously busy weekend rushes.
* Managing the draft system, changing kegs with precision, and ensuring every pour is perfect and waste-free.
* Guiding guests through our extensive tap list, offering tasting flights, and pairing our beers with our seasonal food menu.
* Crafting classic cocktails and mixing high-quality mocktails for non-drinkers, maintaining a clean and organized well.
* Conducting daily inventory of hops, malts, and spirits, and assisting the brewmaster with cellar work when needed.
We are looking for a candidate with at least 1 year of bartending experience, preferably in a brewery or craft beer-focused venue. A deep curiosity about fermentation and a friendly, approachable demeanor are essential. We offer a base wage of $20/hour plus a share of the tip pool, comprehensive health benefits, and a generous discount on our beer and food. Shifts are typically 4 days a week, including weekends.
