A high-foot-traffic, artisanal coffee kiosk in Boston's Financial District is hiring a fast-paced Barista/Cashier to fuel the city's morning commute. Our concept is simple: exceptional, ethically sourced coffee served with speed and a smile to professionals rushing to their offices. We need someone who can memorize regulars' orders, steam milk in seconds, and keep a positive attitude during the chaotic 7 AM to 9 AM rush.
▶ Pulling rapid-fire espresso shots, crafting lattes, and brewing large batches of drip coffee to maintain constant availability.
▶ Greeting every customer with enthusiasm, taking orders accurately, and processing high-volume cash and mobile payments.
▶ Merchandising our grab-and-go selection of fresh sandwiches, salads, and baked goods, ensuring proper rotation and freshness.
▶ Keeping the small footprint kiosk impeccably clean, restocking cups, lids, and napkins, and closing down the station securely.
Prior barista experience is a huge plus, but we are willing to train the right person who is highly organized, punctual, and thrives under pressure. You must be comfortable standing in a compact space and moving with urgency.
