**An elegant, canal-side boutique hotel in Amsterdam is looking for a highly responsible and composed Night Auditor to oversee our property during the quiet hours. As the sole face of the hotel from dusk till dawn, you will ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our international guests while balancing the day's financial ledgers. This role requires a unique blend of hospitality grace and analytical precision.**
**Your nocturnal responsibilities:**
** Seamlessly handling late check-ins and early departures, providing concierge-level advice on night transport, and managing room service requests.
** Running the nightly End-of-Day (EOD) sequence in our Opera PMS system, verifying room rates, posting taxes, and generating comprehensive financial reports for the morning management team.
** Monitoring the CCTV systems, conducting hourly physical security walks of the lobby and corridors, and acting as the primary liaison with emergency services if required.
** Coordinating with the night cleaning crew and early-morning breakfast prep team to ensure a flawless transition for the day shift.
**Who we are looking for:**
** At least 1 year of experience in hotel reception, with previous night shift or auditing experience being a massive advantage.
** Strong IT literacy, specifically with Property Management Systems (PMS) and MS Excel, coupled with a solid grasp of basic accounting principles.
** Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus), a calm demeanor under pressure, and the ability to stay alert and proactive during solitary hours.
**What we provide:**
** A competitive salary of €42,000 per year, supplemented by a night-shift differential allowance.
** A full-time, on-site role working exclusively overnight (e.g., 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 4 nights on, 3 nights off).
