A high-energy, wildly popular slice shop and pizzeria in Boston's North End is looking for vibrant, quick-witted Servers to join our front-of-house crew. We are a neighborhood staple known for our massive New York-style slices, craft soda fountain, and loud, fun atmosphere. We need team members who can hustle during the post-bar rush, keep a smile on their face, and make every tourist and local feel like a VIP.
[1] Greeting the constant stream of walk-in guests, explaining our daily specialty slices, and taking rapid-fire orders at the counter and tables.
[2] Operating our Toast POS system, processing cash and mobile payments, and managing the digital queue for takeout and delivery orders.
[3] Running hot, fresh pizzas and salads to tables, clearing empty plates, and ensuring the dining room and self-serve condiment stations are constantly wiped down and restocked.
[4] Assisting the expo line during peak hours, boxing up slices, and ensuring every delivery bag is packed with the correct napkins and utensils.
[5] Maintaining a fun, energetic vibe, handling the occasional rowdy crowd with humor and professionalism, and supporting your teammates when the ticket printer won't stop.
What you need to bring:
[1] Exceptional communication skills, a booming voice, a great smile, and the physical stamina to stay on your feet in a fast-paced, loud environment.
[2] Prior serving or fast-casual experience is great, but we happily hire energetic beginners with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
[3] Punctuality, honesty with the cash drawer, and a valid food allergy awareness certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
