- Arriving at the venue for pre-event briefings, polishing glassware, and executing flawless table setups according to the event's specific theme and floor plan.
- Navigating crowded dining rooms with heavy trays, serving plated meals or managing bustling buffet stations with grace and efficiency.
- Anticipating guest needs, clearing empty plates discreetly, and ensuring wine and water glasses are never empty.
- Assisting with the post-event breakdown, sorting linens, and stacking chairs to leave the venue immaculate.
Prior serving experience in a hotel or banquet hall is highly preferred, though we provide comprehensive training for energetic beginners. You must be comfortable standing for 8-10 hour shifts, lifting heavy trays, and maintaining a polished, professional demeanor under pressure. We pay a competitive hourly rate of $22 CAD, with guaranteed minimum shift lengths, immediate payouts via direct deposit, and complimentary gourmet meals during your shifts.
