An elegant, sunlit patisserie and tea room in the heart of Amsterdam is seeking a warm and attentive Host to join our front-of-house team. We specialize in exquisite French-Dutch fusion pastries, artisanal chocolates, and premium loose-leaf teas. We need someone who understands that serving dessert is an experience, not just a transaction, and who can make every guest feel truly welcomed.
Our ideal candidate is a natural people-person who can guide patrons through our daily changing display case, explaining the flavor profiles of our seasonal tarts and the origins of our single-origin hot chocolates. You will manage the POS system, handle delicate pastry packaging for takeout orders, and ensure the dining room remains immaculate and cozy. While formal cafe experience is appreciated, your genuine passion for hospitality and sweet treats is what matters most to us.
We offer a starting wage of €16/hour, a supportive and creative team environment, and a daily allowance for coffee and pastries. The schedule is typically 4 days a week, focusing on daytime shifts, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful city of Amsterdam in your free time.
