A luxury sports and wellness complex in Austin, Texas, is hiring a dedicated Spa & Pool Attendant to maintain our pristine wet areas. Our facility features a resort-style lap pool, eucalyptus steam rooms, and cold plunges, requiring constant vigilance and meticulous cleaning to ensure guest safety and comfort. We need a hardworking individual who isn't afraid of hard work and understands the unique challenges of a high-humidity environment.
[1] Continuously monitoring the pool deck, squeegeeing water from the floors to prevent slip hazards, and emptying trash receptacles.
[2] Deep cleaning and disinfecting the locker rooms, saunas, and shower stalls, paying special attention to grout lines and high-touch surfaces.
[3] Collecting soiled towels and robes from the lounge areas, transporting them to the laundry facility, and restocking the shelves with fresh, warm linens.
[4] Testing and logging pool chemical levels, reporting any imbalances to the maintenance team immediately.
Experience in commercial cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or pool maintenance is a major plus. You must be physically fit, comfortable working in hot and humid conditions, and strictly adhere to chemical safety protocols. We offer a wage of $18/hour (approx. $36,000 annually), a flexible shift schedule, and free access to the gym and spa facilities during your off-hours.
