Opis
My journey in the specialty coffee industry began over four years ago in a small, independent roastery in Portland, where I first learned the delicate art of dialing in espresso and understanding the nuances of single-origin beans. Since then, I have dedicated myself to mastering the craft, working my way up from a junior barista to a lead supervisor in high-volume, premium cafes in the Pacific Northwest.
Professional Trajectory & Coffee Expertise:
* 2019 – 2021: Head Barista at a bustling downtown Seattle roastery. Managed the morning rush, calibrated Mahlkönig EK43 grinders daily, and trained new hires on milk texturing and latte art fundamentals.
* 2021 – Present: Shift Supervisor at a specialty coffee lounge. Oversee inventory, coordinate staff scheduling, and maintain strict quality control over every cup served.
Technical Arsenal & Methodologies:
- Equipment Mastery: La Marzocco Strada, Victoria Arduino Black Eagle, Nuova Simonelli Mythos grinders.
- Brewing Techniques: Expert in alternative methods including V60, Chemex, Aeropress, and cold brew extraction.
- Quality Control: Cupping sessions, water filtration monitoring, and workflow ergonomics.
I am deeply passionate about the third-wave coffee movement and pride myself on creating a welcoming, educational atmosphere for both coffee novices and aficionados. I hold a valid Food Handler's certificate and am looking for a leadership role where I can elevate a team's craft and drive cafe profitability.
