A premier dermatology and aesthetic medicine clinic in Toronto, ON is seeking a meticulous, polished, and compassionate Clinic Assistant to support our medical staff and manage our front desk operations. Our facility provides a wide array of advanced cosmetic treatments, utilizing cutting-edge laser technology and globally certified skincare brands. We are looking for an individual who is deeply passionate about the beauty and wellness industry, eager to grow within the medical aesthetics field, and dedicated to ensuring absolute comfort and privacy for our patients during their in-person visits. Please note that due to the hands-on nature of sterilization and patient prep, this is strictly an on-site role.
a. Your clinical and administrative responsibilities:
a. Preparing treatment rooms prior to patient arrivals, ensuring all necessary consumables, topical anesthetics, and medical-grade skincare are fully stocked;
a. Welcoming patients into the clinic, escorting them to the consultation rooms, and offering beverages to create a calming, luxurious atmosphere;
a. Executing strict infection control protocols, including the ultrasonic cleaning, pouching, and autoclave sterilization of all reusable medical instruments in compliance with Ontario health regulations;
a. Chair-side assisting during complex procedures (e.g., mixing alginate masks, handing off injectables, and providing patient comfort measures);
a. Managing the inventory ledger, tracking the expiration dates of expensive serums and injectables, and drafting reorder lists for the clinic manager;
a. Upholding impeccable cleanliness and sanitization standards across all clinical zones throughout your shift.
b. Qualifications we are looking for:
b. A diploma in nursing, medical office administration, or a certified medical esthetician program is highly preferred;
b. Solid understanding of aseptic techniques, WHMIS, and hands-on experience operating sterilization equipment (autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners);
b. A flawless, well-groomed appearance, strict adherence to personal hygiene, and compliance with our clinical dress code;
b. Excellent communication skills in English, demonstrating tact, discretion, and a soothing bedside manner when dealing with nervous patients;
b. Previous exposure to a medi-spa, dermatology clinic, or high-end salon environment will be considered a massive advantage.

c. A competitive annual salary of $45,000 CAD, paid out on a reliable bi-weekly schedule;
c. A predictable rotational shift schedule (e.g., two days on, two days off) from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, working exclusively on-site at our Yorkville location;
