🏢 **About Us:** A leading private security and monitoring bureau in Chicago, IL, is hiring a highly focused CCTV Operator for our centralized dispatch center. You will monitor live feeds from 50+ diverse sites, ranging from massive logistics warehouses and manufacturing plants to luxury residential complexes and retail chains.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Active Surveillance: Continuously monitor a video wall, distinguishing between routine shadows and actual perimeter breaches or safety violations (e.g., PPE non-compliance).
• Dispatch Coordination: Instantly relay coordinates and situational descriptions to mobile rapid response units via radio when motion sensors or panic buttons are triggered.
• System Operation: Navigate modern VMS platforms (Hikvision, Dahua), manage PTZ cameras, and pull archived footage for incident investigations.
• Incident Logging: Maintain detailed logs of all alarms, camera faults, and dispatched responses.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• Excellent vision (corrected or uncorrected) and the ability to maintain intense focus on screens for extended periods.
• High stress tolerance: ability to triage multiple simultaneous alarms across different sites.
• Prior experience in security monitoring, dispatch, or law enforcement is highly valued.
