🏢 **About Us:** A major metallurgical manufacturing enterprise in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking an experienced Director of Security to take full ownership of our physical security operations. We need a strategic leader who can manage a 20-person guard force, enforce strict access control, and protect high-value assets.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Perimeter & Access Control: Oversee all entry points (pedestrian turnstiles, heavy truck gates), enforcing strict material movement protocols (BOL verification, seal checks, undercarriage inspections).
• Investigations: Lead internal investigations into inventory shrinkage, theft of raw materials (non-ferrous metals), or policy violations.
• Team Leadership: Manage, train, and schedule the 20-officer security team, ensuring strict discipline and high morale.
• Policy Development: Draft and implement emergency response plans (fire, industrial accidents, industrial espionage) and maintain all security logs and incident reports.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• 3+ years of experience managing a security team, preferably with a background in law enforcement or military service.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to enforce discipline while resolving workplace conflicts discreetly.
• Physical readiness to respond personally to night-time incidents if required.
