☁️ Scale Our Cloud & Virtualization:
An international IT company is opening a competition for a System Administrator specializing in cloud technologies and virtualization to scale our infrastructure remotely from Amsterdam.
🖥️ Core Duties:
• Administer, monitor, and scale virtualization clusters based on VMware vSphere and Proxmox VE.
• Design, configure, and administer data storage systems (SAN/NAS, Ceph, iSCSI, Fibre Channel).
• Integrate local infrastructure services with public clouds (Microsoft Azure / AWS).
• Automate server deployment and configuration using scripts (Bash, PowerShell, Ansible).
• Perform regular infrastructure backups (Veeam Backup & Replication) and test data recovery procedures.
🛠️ Our Expectations:
• 3-4 years of experience as a System Administrator for virtualization systems.
• Deep knowledge of VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter) and experience with KVM/Proxmox.
• Practical experience with Azure or AWS cloud services (certifications are a huge plus).
• Understanding of High Availability architecture principles, fault-tolerant networks, and SAN.
• Skills in writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and configuration management via Ansible.
