🏗️ Build Our On-Premise K8s Clusters:
We are seeking a qualified DevOps Engineer specializing in deploying and supporting local clusters (Kubernetes bare-metal, on-premise) and distributed storage systems in a fully remote setup based in Vancouver.
⚙️ Core Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and administer fault-tolerant Kubernetes clusters on bare-metal hardware.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and scaling processes using Ansible and Kubespray.
• Configure, support, and monitor the distributed Ceph storage system.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD processes for automated application delivery to K8s clusters.
• Ensure infrastructure security, monitor performance (Prometheus, Grafana), and configure alerting.
🧠 Your Profile:
• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and practical experience in fine-tuning K8s bare-metal.
• Practical experience administering and optimizing Ceph.
• Strong command of Ansible (developing roles and playbooks from scratch).
• Knowledge of K8s network stacks (Calico, Cilium, Flannel) and experience with load balancing tools (HAProxy, MetalLB).
