We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to support, evolve, and scale our massive international e-commerce platform in our modern London headquarters.
⚙️ Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain high-load e-commerce platform services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Integrate and fine-tune Elasticsearch search queries for our massive product catalog.
• Implement seamless interactions with international payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal) and ensure transaction security.
• Integrate with global logistics and postal services to automate delivery calculations and processing.
• Monitor system health, optimize database performance, and refactor legacy code.
🧠 Your Profile:
• 4-5 years of commercial Java development experience.
• Deep knowledge of the Spring Framework (Boot, Data, Security) and Hibernate.
• Practical experience with Elasticsearch (index design, search optimization).
• Understanding of REST API architecture, microservices, and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Basic knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
