⚡ Optimize the JVM at the Lowest Level:
We are seeking a Systems Engineer and Senior Java Developer with a profound understanding of the Java Virtual Machine's internal architecture to work on optimizing the most critical parts of our platform, working remotely from Seattle.
🔍 Core Duties:
• Conduct deep performance analysis of compiled bytecode and profile program execution at the JVM level.
• Design and write custom plugins for compilation and dynamic class modification (bytecode manipulation).
• Optimize memory usage (Garbage Collection tuning) and resolve memory leaks in distributed applications.
• Optimize critical, high-load modules of our proprietary company framework.
• Conduct R&D to improve platform performance at the lowest system levels.
🛠️ Required Skills:
• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Java Developer.
• Expert-level knowledge of JVM internals (Classloaders, Memory Model, JIT compilation, GC algorithms).
• Practical experience with bytecode analysis tools (ASM, ByteBuddy, BCEL, Javassist).
• Strong command of profilers (JProfiler, YourKit, Java Flight Recorder) and heap dump analysis tools (MAT).
• Understanding of low-level code optimization and multithreaded programming (Concurrency).
