🌐 Architect Our High-Load API Gateway:
We are looking for an experienced Python Developer to design, implement, and optimize a high-load API Gateway in a fully remote setup based in Berlin.
⚙️ Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain asynchronous microservices and API gateways using FastAPI / Tornado.
• Optimize response latency and system throughput under massive loads.
• Implement and maintain user authorization and authentication mechanisms using JWT / OAuth2 / OpenID Connect.
• Configure dynamic routing, request load balancing, and Rate Limiting mechanisms.
• Integrate the gateway with monitoring services (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) for detailed request tracing.
🛠️ Required Skills:
• 3+ years of commercial Python development experience with a deep understanding of asyncio.
• Practical experience designing APIs (RESTful, gRPC, WebSocket) and working with API Gateway architectural patterns.
• Understanding of web application security mechanisms and authorization protocols.
• Experience with Redis (caching, queues) and message brokers (RabbitMQ / Kafka).
• Strong command of containerization tools (Docker, Docker Compose) and Git.
