☁️ Bridge Our On-Premise and Cloud Worlds:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to administer and support the stable operation of our hybrid IT infrastructure (on-premise servers and AWS cloud) in a fully remote setup based in Austin.
🔗 Core Responsibilities:
• Configure and maintain secure VPN tunnels between local servers and the AWS cloud (VPC).
• Synchronize and replicate databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL) across different infrastructure locations.
• Ensure fault tolerance, configure backups, and manage Disaster Recovery (DR) procedures.
• Automate update deployments and system configuration using Ansible / Terraform.
• Monitor infrastructure and service performance using Prometheus, Grafana, or Zabbix.
🛠️ Required Skills:
• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer / Linux System Administrator.
• Practical experience administering hybrid environments and AWS cloud services (EC2, RDS, VPC, S3, IAM).
• Deep knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu / CentOS), network protocols, and VPN configuration (OpenVPN, WireGuard, IPSec).
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD systems (GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Ability to write scripts for automating routine tasks (Bash, Python).
