A prominent manufacturing and trading company in the Chicago area is announcing a competition for the position of Business Development & Financial Analyst. We are looking for an analyst with an economic or financial background who is ready for on-site work in our office and will take on the analysis of business process efficiency, development of cost optimization models, and evaluation of the attractiveness of new company development projects.
// Core Functional Tasks:
▲ In-depth analysis of the efficiency of current production and logistics processes, identifying points of loss;
▲ Developing and maintaining financial models for new investment projects and company business lines;
▲ Calculating the payback (NPV, IRR, Payback Period) for production equipment modernization projects;
▲ Preparing analytical reports, presentations, and business plans for top management and company investors;
▲ Working with large volumes of information, building pivot tables and charts to visualize trends.
// Our Expectations from Candidates:
▲ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or Applied Mathematics/Cybernetics;
▲ Successful experience as a Financial Analyst, Business Analyst, or Development Specialist for at least 2 years;
▲ Excellent knowledge of financial modeling, understanding of management accounting principles, and financial analysis;
▲ Professional proficiency in MS Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, macros are a plus) and PowerPoint;
▲ Attention to detail, analytical mindset, ability to work independently, and take responsibility for results.
