Our construction firm is currently developing several mid-rise mixed-use projects across Toronto, and we need a seasoned Construction Site Superintendent to take charge of our active sites. You will be the key link between the project managers, subcontractors, and the crew on the ground.
Core responsibilities include:
1. Directing all on-site construction activities to ensure they align with the engineered drawings and schedules.
2. Managing subcontractor coordination, ensuring trades do not overlap unsafely and that work zones are kept clean.
3. Maintaining detailed daily logs, safety reports (OHSA compliance), and quality control checklists.
4. Ordering materials, verifying deliveries against manifests, and minimizing waste on site.
5. Enforcing strict health and safety protocols, conducting daily toolbox talks with the crew.
The ideal candidate holds a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role. You must be highly proficient in reading complex structural and architectural plans. We offer a competitive package of $95,000 CAD annually, a company truck allowance, and comprehensive health benefits. This is a strictly on-site role requiring your physical presence at our downtown Toronto projects.
