This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in transforming worn-out spaces into clean, professional environments.

Your daily responsibilities:
1. Preparing surfaces by scraping, sanding, and washing walls to remove old paint, wallpaper, or grease.
2. Patching drywall holes, taping joints, and applying multiple coats of joint compound to achieve a smooth, Level 4 finish.
3. Priming and painting large commercial spaces using airless sprayers, rollers, and brushes, ensuring even coverage without lap marks.
4. Setting up and dismantling scaffolding, swing stages, and dust containment barriers to protect client property.
5. Performing minor touch-ups and snag list items at the end of a project to ensure client satisfaction.

What you need to bring:
1. At least 2 years of experience in commercial painting and drywall finishing.
2. Familiarity with various coating systems (epoxy, urethane, latex) and their specific application requirements.
3. Ability to work efficiently at heights and in confined spaces.
4. A strong attention to detail and a commitment to leaving the worksite cleaner than you found it.
5. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Our compensation and benefits:
1. An hourly-equivalent annual salary of $60,000 CAD, with weekly pay based on hours worked.
2. Full-time, on-site work across various locations in Calgary.
3. All painting equipment, sprayers, and PPE (respirators, coveralls) provided by the company.
4. A flexible schedule that allows for some early starts or late finishes to accommodate client business hours.
5. A friendly, team-oriented environment with opportunities to learn new finishing techniques.
