Our interior fit-out division in Toronto is expanding, and we need a skilled Drywall Installer / Metal Framer to join our crew. We handle everything from high-end residential renovations to large-scale commercial office build-outs across the GTA. If you take pride in perfectly plumb walls and seamless ceiling transitions, we want you on our team.
Day-to-day, you will be reading floor plans to lay out metal stud framing for partitions, shaft walls, and intricate ceiling grids. You will be responsible for hanging drywall, taping, mudding, and sanding joints to a Level 4 or Level 5 finish, depending on the client's specifications. Acoustic insulation and fire-rated assemblies are a daily part of the job, so attention to detail and adherence to the Ontario Building Code are critical.
To succeed in this role, you need at least 2 years of commercial or high-end residential framing experience. You must be comfortable working with laser levels, proficient with powder-actuated tools, and understand the nuances of moisture-resistant or fire-rated board installations. Physical stamina and a reliable approach to your craft are non-negotiable.
We provide a stable income of $65,000 CAD per year, with opportunities for overtime. You will be supplied with all Hilti tools, fasteners, and PPE. This is a strictly on-site role requiring your physical presence at our various project locations in Toronto, working Monday through Friday with occasional weekend shifts for critical project milestones.
