We are a premier residential construction company in Seattle, specializing in custom homes and high-end remodels. We are currently seeking a Lead Roofer / Residential Roofing Foreman to head up our exterior enclosure crews. The Pacific Northwest weather demands flawless roof installations, and we need a leader who ensures every ridge, valley, and flashing detail is watertight and visually stunning.
You will lead a crew of 3-4 roofers, managing the installation of complex roof systems, including architectural shingles, standing seam metal, and synthetic slate. Your responsibilities include setting up fall protection, tearing off old materials, inspecting and repairing decking, and installing premium underlayment and ice/water shields. You will also be responsible for flashing chimneys, skylights, and wall intersections, ensuring the final roof not only protects the home but enhances its architectural character.
We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of roofing experience, including at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity. You must have an encyclopedic knowledge of roofing materials, excellent carpentry skills for fascia and soffits, and a strict commitment to safety. The ability to read architectural roof plans and communicate effectively with homeowners and general contractors is essential.
We pay a competitive wage equivalent to $75,000 USD annually, with project completion bonuses. You will be provided with a company truck, all high-end roofing tools, and top-tier fall protection gear. This is a fully on-site position across various residential projects in the Greater Seattle area, working primarily Monday through Friday.
