Leading a hardscape crew in the Greater Toronto Area means transforming outdoor spaces into functional, beautiful environments. We are a premier landscaping and civil construction firm, and we are looking for a Hardscape Foreman who knows how to read a grade, manage a team, and lay interlocking pavers with absolute precision.
You will be responsible for the entire paving process, from the initial earthwork to the final compaction. This includes operating laser levels and string lines to establish exact slopes for proper drainage. You will direct the excavation and base preparation, ensuring the correct layers of granular A and clear stone are compacted to specification. Setting concrete curbs, laying edge restraints, and installing the actual interlocking concrete pavers or natural stone will be your daily focus. You will also operate heavy equipment like vibratory plate compactors and skid steers, and guide your crew to maintain a clean, safe, and highly productive job site.
We require a candidate with at least 3 years of experience in hardscaping or civil paving. You must have a keen eye for detail, understanding how patterns lock together and how to minimize cutting waste. Proficiency with laser graders and compactors is mandatory. Leadership skills are essential, as you will be managing a crew of 3 to 5 laborers, ensuring they follow safety protocols and quality standards.
We offer a salary of $75,000 CAD per year, with opportunities for overtime during our busy spring and summer seasons. You will be provided with a company truck, a gas card, and all specialized hardscape tools. This is a fully on-site position across various residential and commercial projects in Toronto.
