The Pacific Northwest demands high-performance building envelopes, and as a Rainscreen Cladding Installer in Seattle, you will be at the forefront of modern facade construction. We specialize in commercial and multi-family residential projects, and we need a skilled mechanic who understands the intricacies of ventilated facade systems.
Your day will involve setting up the primary subframe, ensuring every bracket is perfectly aligned and thermally isolated. You will install the continuous insulation and the weather-resistive barrier, making sure all seams are taped and sealed to create a perfect air barrier. The core of your work will be mounting the aluminum cassettes, fiber cement panels, or high-pressure laminate (HPL) boards, ensuring the reveals are consistent and the panels are securely locked into the clips. You will also handle the complex flashings, soffits, and parapet caps that keep the building watertight.
We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in commercial cladding or curtain wall installation. You must be proficient with laser levels, powder-actuated tools, and rivet guns. The ability to read detailed architectural facade drawings and understand the sequencing of a rainscreen system is critical. You must have a strict commitment to fall protection and safety protocols when working on scaffolding or MEWPs.
We pay a competitive wage equivalent to $70,000 USD annually, with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and a 401(k) match. You will receive all high-end facade tools and fall protection gear. This is a fully on-site position at our various commercial projects in the Greater Seattle area.
