Safety and precision are the two words that define my approach to electrical work. I completed my electrical apprenticeship in Dublin in 2017, spending the next four years working for a busy contracting firm that handled everything from new housing developments to commercial shop fit-outs. During that time, I mastered the art of 1st fix wiring—running cables, drilling joists, and mounting back boxes—always ensuring my work was neat, logical, and easy for the next tradesman to follow.
Since early 2022, I’ve been working as a qualified electrician, handling 2nd fix and testing/inspection. I’m highly experienced in wiring consumer units, installing RCDs and RCBOs, and setting up smart lighting systems. I know the Irish wiring regulations (ETCI/RECI) inside out and always ensure my installations are safe, compliant, and ready for a smooth Safe Electrical Certification. I use professional testing equipment to verify earth fault loop impedance and continuity, and I take the time to explain the system to the homeowner before I leave. I’m seeking a permanent role with a quality-focused electrical contractor in Dublin, expecting €42,000 annually. I bring my own testing kit, hand tools, and a strong work ethic.
