Description

Teaching soldiers how to operate, hide, and survive behind enemy lines is a responsibility I do not take lightly. As a combat veteran with a background in special operations reconnaissance, I bridge the gap between classroom theory and the brutal reality of field operations.

Over the past three years, I have served as a lead instructor at a military training center, personally guiding over 350 reconnaissance troops. My curriculum covers small-unit tactics, ambush establishment, and the critical art of camouflage. I teach soldiers how to defeat not just visual observation, but modern thermal and radar surveillance. I developed a specialized module on thermal masking using emergency space blankets, specific mud compositions, and natural defilade, which significantly reduced the detection rate of our trainees during opposing force (OPFOR) exercises.

Prior to instructing, I served in active reconnaissance units, where I gained extensive experience in land navigation, survival, and covert observation post (OP) construction. I am highly proficient with topographic maps, compasses, and tactical GPS units like the Garmin Foretrex. I regularly lead multi-day autonomous field exercises, forcing students to forage, build concealed shelters, and navigate through hostile terrain without electronic aids.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in History and Law, alongside specialized military instructor certifications. I possess exceptional physical endurance, a calm demeanor under extreme stress, and the ability to break down complex tactical concepts for diverse learning styles. I am seeking a full-time, on-site position at a premier defense training facility in Fayetteville, NC, with a base salary of $65,000 USD.
