A single mistake in mine awareness or explosive ordnance disposal is a fatal one. I bring over three years of frontline engineering and EOD instruction experience, dedicated to teaching infantry and sappers how to survive the invisible threat of modern battlefields.
From late 2020 to the present, I have been the lead engineering instructor at a military training center. I have personally trained over 800 soldiers in mine hazard awareness, route clearance procedures, and the construction of field fortifications. My classes cover the identification of anti-personnel and anti-tank mines, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and booby traps. I teach the proper use of metal detectors like the Vallon VMW3, manual probing techniques, and the safe breaching of minefields using explosive line charges or mechanical rollers.
In addition to EOD, I instruct on tactical fortification. I guide students through the engineering of individual fighting positions, trench systems, and overhead cover, ensuring they understand soil mechanics, drainage, and camouflage against UAV surveillance. I recently authored a tactical manual on identifying and defeating modern tripwire networks and command-wire IEDs, which is now standard issue for assault teams.
I hold a Bachelor's degree and a military engineering certification as a Sapper. I possess iron discipline, extreme attention to detail, and the ability to remain completely calm when handling live explosives or teaching high-stress scenarios. I am seeking a full-time, on-site role at a training academy in Windsor, ON, with a target salary of $75,000 CAD.
