A landmark luxury castle estate on the outskirts of Dublin is searching for a polished and highly organized Banquet & Events Operations Manager. We host some of Ireland's most exclusive weddings, corporate galas, and high-profile product launches. We need a visionary leader who can translate a client's dream into a flawless reality, orchestrating everything from the initial menu tasting to the final sparkler send-off.
Key areas of leadership:
- Conducting immersive site tours and consultative sales meetings with prospective couples and corporate event planners.
- Designing bespoke banquet menus in partnership with our Executive Chef, calculating precise food and beverage costings.
- Directing the floor plan, coordinating with external vendors (florists, AV technicians, entertainment), and managing the day-of run-of-show.
- Leading the front-of-house brigade during the event, ensuring synchronized service and anticipating guest needs before they arise.
You must possess at least 3 years of management experience in luxury hospitality or premium event venues. A deep understanding of Irish licensing laws, advanced proficiency in event management software (like Tripleseat), and the ability to remain impeccably calm under extreme pressure are non-negotiable. We offer a salary of €45,000 EUR, plus a lucrative commission structure based on event revenue, and the opportunity to work in one of the most breathtaking venues in the country.
