The iconic lobby bar of a historic five-star hotel in Munich is seeking a charismatic and skilled Bartender to anchor our evening service. Surrounded by neo-classical architecture and live piano music, our bar is the social hub for discerning travelers, diplomats, and local elites. We need a professional who can craft flawless classic cocktails, pull the perfect espresso, and engage in witty, sophisticated conversation with a global clientele.
Your role at the mahogany bar:
1. Preparing an extensive menu of signature cocktails, rare spirits, and digestifs with absolute precision and theatrical flair.
2. Operating our La Marzocco espresso machine during the morning and afternoon service, educating guests on single-origin beans.
3. Anticipating the needs of hotel guests, offering tailored recommendations for dining, nightlife, and cultural excursions in Bavaria.
4. Managing inventory, conducting weekly stocktakes of premium liquors, and ensuring the bar's glassware and fixtures are polished to a mirror shine.
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in a luxury hotel bar or high-end lounge. You must possess excellent communication skills, a polished appearance, and conversational fluency in English and German. We offer a base salary of €42,000 EUR, plus a share of the service charge, provided dry cleaning for your suits, and the prestige of working for a globally recognized hospitality brand.
