A prestigious, world-renowned thermal spa resort and sanatorium in Baden-Baden is seeking a meticulous and organized Laundry Attendant to manage our extensive textile inventory. Our guests expect the pinnacle of luxury, which means every bathrobe, towel, and piece of staff uniform must be impeccably clean, pressed, and perfectly maintained. You will be the guardian of our soft goods, ensuring seamless operations behind the scenes.
I. Executing the daily intake, sorting, and commercial washing of hundreds of pounds of terrycloth, spa linens, and delicate staff garments using industrial extractor washers.
II. Operating heavy-duty flatwork ironers, steam presses, and folding machines to ensure crisp sheets and flawlessly folded towels for the treatment rooms and guest suites.
III. Conducting rigorous quality control inspections, performing minor alterations and repairs (sewing buttons, mending seams) on damaged textiles before returning them to circulation.
IV. Managing the central linen closet, tracking inventory levels via our RFID system, and dispatching fresh par levels to the housekeeping carts each morning.
V. Maintaining a pristine, dry, and highly organized laundry facility, adhering to strict chemical safety protocols and equipment maintenance schedules.
Professional qualifications we require:
I. Prior experience in commercial laundry operations, hotel linen rooms, or theatrical wardrobe departments is highly advantageous.
II. Familiarity with industrial washing machinery, fabric care chemistry, and basic tailoring or sewing skills.
III. High attention to detail, physical capability to lift heavy laundry bags, and a strong sense of responsibility regarding hygiene standards.
