🛡️ Secure Our Infrastructure:
We are looking for a qualified System Administrator with deep expertise in information and network security to protect and administer our corporate IT infrastructure remotely from Seattle.
🔒 Key Responsibilities:
• Configure, support, and monitor Next-Generation Firewalls (Fortinet FortiGate, pfSense).
• Conduct regular infrastructure security audits, vulnerability scanning, and system patching.
• Configure and monitor SIEM systems for rapid detection and prevention of unauthorized access attempts.
• Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM), configure VPN servers, and enforce Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
• Respond rapidly to information security incidents, developing and implementing threat response playbooks.
🚨 What You Bring:
• 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator or Information Security Specialist.
• Practical knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, Routing, NAT, IPsec).
• Experience administering Fortinet, pfSense, or Cisco ASA, plus Linux/Unix administration skills.
• Knowledge of baseline cybersecurity standards and experience with monitoring systems (Zabbix, Prometheus).
• Holding relevant security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security) is a strong advantage.
