📞 Engineer Our Corporate IP Telephony:
We are looking for a qualified Systems Administrator (VoIP / Asterisk) to configure, support, and scale our corporate IP telephony infrastructure in a fully remote setup based in Boston.
☎️ Key Responsibilities:
• Configure and administer IP-PBX based on Asterisk (including pure Asterisk and FreePBX distributions).
• Connect, configure, and monitor SIP trunks from various telecom operators.
• Provision, configure, and support IP phones (Yealink, Cisco, Grandstream) and SIP gateways.
• Configure and optimize call routing, call queues, Interactive Voice Response (IVR), and call recording systems.
• Integrate IP telephony with internal CRM and ERP systems, analyze logs, and troubleshoot audio issues (RTP jitter, packet loss).
🛠️ Required Skills:
• 3+ years of experience as a VoIP Systems Administrator.
• Deep knowledge of the SIP protocol, understanding of TCP/IP stacks, RTP/RTCP, and NAT traversal.
• Strong Linux administration skills (CentOS/Debian/Ubuntu).
• Practical experience writing custom Asterisk dialplans and Bash/Python scripts for automation.
• Experience with traffic analysis tools (Wireshark, sngrep) for connectivity diagnostics.
