🏢 **About Us:** A modern machine-building enterprise in Cleveland specializing in complex metal structures, custom equipment, and storage tanks is seeking a highly qualified Chief Manufacturing Engineer to optimize processes and lead innovation.
🏭 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Lead and coordinate the engineering department; develop long-term modernization plans.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes for metal structures of varying complexity.
• Calculate optimal raw material, energy, and consumable norms per unit of finished product.
• Enforce quality standards, analyze root causes of defects, and implement preventive measures.
• Develop and approve technical documentation (process cards, welding/assembly diagrams) per ISO and AWS standards.
• Participate in selecting and procuring new industrial equipment; design custom tooling.
• Optimize production cycles and boost labor productivity across cutting, welding, assembly, and painting.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or Welding Technology.
• 3+ years of experience as a Chief or Lead Manufacturing Engineer in heavy machinery or metal fabrication.
• Deep expertise in metal welding (MIG/MAG, TIG, Submerged Arc) and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and MS Office.
• Proven leadership skills, analytical mindset, and team management experience.
