🏢 **About Us:** A modern, full-cycle metalworking plant in Pittsburgh manufacturing components for industrial equipment and construction steel structures is hiring a Shift Supervisor.
🔥 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Organize and coordinate the daily operations of a production crew of up to 15 workers (CNC operators, stampers, welders).
• Ensure the shift production plan is met regarding volume, product mix, and deadlines.
• Monitor adherence to technological processes for stamping, bending, cutting, and welding per blueprints.
• Swiftly resolve technical and organizational issues to minimize equipment downtime.
• Conduct primary QC on finished products for defects and verify geometric dimensions.
• Enforce OSHA safety rules, fire safety, and internal labor discipline.
• Manage shift documentation, material tracking, and scrap reporting.
📋 **Requirements:**
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience (Shop Master, Shift Supervisor, or Team Lead) in metalworking.
• Deep understanding of cold stamping, pressing, welding, and reading complex technical blueprints.
• Strong leadership, decisive character, and ability to organize a team under pressure.
• Proficient PC user (basic production accounting software knowledge is a plus).
