🏢 **About Us:** A modern, high-capacity automotive plastics manufacturing plant in Detroit is hiring an energetic and responsible Trimmer & Packer. We supply premium plastic components and accessories to leading US automotive dealerships and retail networks. Our facility operates state-of-the-art German injection molding machines, ensuring top-tier safety and quality standards.
🧩 **Core Duties:**
• Receive finished plastic parts (bumpers, grilles, moldings, fender liners) directly from the injection molding machines.
• Manually trim technical flash, burrs, and sprues using specialized safety knives and pneumatic tools.
• Conduct visual quality control on every part to identify chips, uneven painting, or deformations.
• Apply branded barcode labels and product information stickers to the inner side of the components.
• Securely pack finished goods for shipping (stretch-wrapping, stacking into large corrugated boxes).
• Maintain a clean workspace and segregate plastic scrap for the recycling/grinding department.
📋 **Requirements:**
• Good physical condition, stamina, and ability to stand for the entire shift.
• High concentration, quick reflexes, and excellent hand-eye coordination for handling small parts.
• Discipline, neatness, and strict adherence to technologist and shift supervisor instructions.
• Prior experience in plastic or rubber manufacturing is a strong advantage.
