🏢 **About Us:** A large domestic woodworking enterprise specializing in high-quality furniture, wall panels, and interior elements is hiring a skilled CNC Router Operator. Our production facility in Grand Rapids is equipped with modern European machining centers.
⚠️ **Important Note:** The "remote" tag in our system is strictly for cloud-based CAD/CAM file retrieval and shift scheduling. The actual machining work is purely physical and requires your constant on-site presence at the woodworking shop floor in Grand Rapids.
⚙️ **Core Duties:**
• Perform high-precision machining of parts on CNC routers using pre-written control programs.
• Work with diverse materials: MDF, solid wood of various species, plywood, melamine-faced chipboard, and plastics.
• Prepare the machine for operation: install and change cutting tools (router bits, drills) as needed.
• Securely fix workpieces to the machine table using vacuum pods or mechanical clamps.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy against blueprints using measuring instruments.
• Swiftly identify and resolve minor machine faults; keep the work area clean from sawdust and chips.
📋 **Requirements:**
• Vocational/technical education and 1+ year of experience operating CNC routers in woodworking.
• Knowledge of CNC router mechanics and the ability to make basic program adjustments at the controller.
• Ability to read technical blueprints, understand part specifications, and know the machining nuances of different wood species.
• Neatness, high responsibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to zero-defect manufacturing.
