⚠️ **Important Note:** The "remote" system tag is solely for digital shift reporting and online safety training. Operating heavy quarry machinery is strictly an on-site, physical job requiring your constant presence at the crushed stone quarry in Denver.
🚜 **Core Duties:**
• Service, start, stop, and regulate the speed of belt conveyors and vibratory feeders at the quarry.
• Continuously monitor the belt load to prevent overloading and material spillage.
• Control proper belt tension and tracking; clean rollers, drums, and the under-carriage area from dust and fine aggregate.
• Monitor the uniform loading of crushed stone into railcars or dump trucks from the conveyor hoppers.
• Conduct visual inspections of bearings, reducers, and idlers to detect equipment faults early.
• Strictly adhere to safety rules around moving conveyor parts and wear all required PPE.
📋 **Requirements:**
• Vocational/technical education (Conveyor Operator, Mechanic, or similar).
• 1+ year of experience operating conveyors at quarries, processing plants, or heavy industrial sites.
• Knowledge of belt conveyor mechanics, tensioning devices, and alarm systems.
• Excellent health, high physical stamina, and no contraindications to working outdoors in dusty conditions.
