🪵 **CNC Edge Banding Machine Operator**
🏢 **About Us:** A modern, high-capacity furniture manufacturing facility with a diverse product line and state-of-the-art machinery is hiring a skilled CNC Edge Bander Operator. Our production plant is located directly in High Point, NC.
⚠️ **Important Note:** While our HR portal may list this role with a "remote" tag for administrative convenience (e.g., viewing the production queue, planning your work calendar, or completing online safety modules), the actual operation of the edge banding machine is 100% physical and requires your daily, on-site presence on the shop floor in High Point.
⚙️ **Core Duties:**
• Perform high-quality edge banding of straight and curved furniture parts (particleboard, MDF) using PVC, ABS, and wood veneer on automated CNC machinery.
• Independently setup and adjust machine parameters based on panel thickness and edge material specifications.
• Monitor the gluing process, regulating glue pot temperature and the pressure of the pressing rollers.
• Execute manual post-processing: trimming overhangs, chamfering, and sanding edges.
• Regularly clean the glue pot from carbon buildup, and replace router bits, scraping knives, and polishing wheels.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance: clearing dust/chips, lubricating moving parts, and checking the pneumatic system.
• Conduct rigorous visual QC on finished parts to ensure zero chipping, unglued sections, or other defects.
📋 **Requirements:**
• Vocational/technical education (technical or woodworking profile).
• 1+ year of experience operating CNC edge banding machines in furniture manufacturing.
• Knowledge of furniture panel edge banding technologies, glue types, and edge material properties.
• Neatness, high concentration, strong responsibility, and ability to maintain an active shop floor tempo.
